About the Program

The Bankers School for Supervisory Training, or BSST,  is a three-day program aimed at developing managerial skills for frontline supervisors. The annual school is held twice each year and hosts students from all over the state. In 2023, the school is celebrating its 50th anniversary with more than 4,500 banker graduates since the school began.

Bankers School for Supervisory Training 2023 Summer Session Held

LBA held the summer session of the Bankers School for Supervisory Training June 20-22 at the LBA office with 30 bankers from Louisiana and Mississippi participating in the school. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the school. Sessions included DiSC Personality Profile, Time Management, Management Behavior, Performance Evaluations, HR Overview/Supervisor Best Practices, Leading High Performance Teams and Generational Differences in the Workplace.
