Discussion will include differences in the various sectors or classes of CRE and how this impacts underwriting. He will share the importance of understanding the market(s) and tools to help you do so. Other topics will include the importance of client experience in the credit decision, competition, economic impact on potential project, what is better – debt service coverage or debt yield? Lastly, the subject of stress testing will be addressed – at the loan level and the portfolio level.
