LBA Holds First Professional Development Conference
Forty-eight bankers from across the state attended LBA's inaugural Professional Development Conference on April 18 at the LBA office. Conference speakers and sessions included (above, standing) Jennifer Ledet of Ledet Management conducting her session, “Amplify Your Influence to Accelerate Your Success” and (below) Shanna Dorion of BizKnocks conducting her session, “The Power of Professionalism”. Additional sessions were “Managing Your Career in a Dynamic Market” by Devin Lemoine of Success Labs; “Things High Performers Do” by Jay Toups of Retail Management Resources; “The Secret to Ultimate Peace and Life Balance” by Wavely Cunningham of Samaritan Counseling Center; “Put me in Coach” by Janet Wood. The PWR – Professional Women Revitalized Tract afternoon sessions featured were “Failing Forward: Using Failure as a Driver” by Julie Laperouse of Emergent Method and a female bank executives panel discussion featuring Carly Leonards of JD Bank and Paige Oliver of Bank of Oak Ridge.
