The FFIEC developed the Cybersecurity Assessment Tool (CAT) to aid financial institutions in identifying cybersecurity risks and their preparedness in mitigating those risks. The CAT is intended to be a repeatable exercise with measurable results that can help institutions evaluate their preparedness over time. Institutions are categorized into five maturity levels and are expected to achieve a certain level of control based on that maturity. However, due to the ongoing evolution of cybersecurity risks, institutions should actively work toward compliance with the next maturity level. This webinar is designed for institutions that have met the baseline controls and are actively working toward meeting evolving standards.
Learning objectives:
- Discuss various controls that must be met to meet the Evolving maturity level
- Evaluate examples of how the controls can be implemented by various institutions
- Apply suggested controls within your institution
