Recent changes were made to the procedural requirements for assigning titles when a bank makes a loan secured by a car, truck, ATV, small boat, motor, or trailer. This webinar will review the legislative changes, discuss the new procedures and forms required by the Department of Safety and Corrections, Office of Motor Vehicles and the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.

Changes were also made to the mortgage cancellation requirements enabling bank officers to be able to prepare cancellations without requiring the signature of a notary. An additional procedure was implemented to allow for the partial release of a mortgage and a corresponding sample form was adopted. The webinar will review the new procedures and form.
