Overview
This two-day seminar provides an overview of key federal real estate lending requirements, covering ten major regulations and compliance areas. Participants will receive comprehensive coverage of selected topics, practical policy recommendations, employee training considerations, audit techniques, and strategies for identifying and correcting compliance weaknesses.
Special emphasis is placed on coverage and exemption rules, determining when disclosures are required, understanding disclosure content requirements, and recognizing prohibited acts and practices. With ongoing regulatory developments, evolving supervisory expectations, and continued focus on fair lending and consumer protection, it is critical that financial institutions maintain effective and up-to-date real estate lending compliance programs.
Participants will leave with a comprehensive understanding of ten major federal real estate lending compliance topics, along with a detailed reference manual that can serve as a practical resource long after the seminar concludes.

Instructor
Kimberly Boatwright is EVP and Director of Risk and Compliance at Compliance Resource, LLC and has more than a two decades of experience working in the financial services industry. Ms. Boatwright is a well-regarded financial industry risk and compliance professional with a strong background in program development and implementation. She is a thought leader who specializes in Fair Lending, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC, and consumer compliance. During her career she has worked for and consulted with all types of financial institutions helping to establish and evolve compliance and risk programs. She is a frequent public speaker, trainer, and author on compliance and risk management topics. Kimberly is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.
