Overview
During this webinar we will go beyond basics on business accounts. You will learn how to research and document a multi-tiered business account in this complex environment. While multi-tiered businesses are not strictly limited to LLC, the LLC lends itself to complex arrangements involving trusts, estates, businesses and people. We will look at the difference between “dba” on a business type where there is more than one business operating in an account and the single-member LLC where another business is the owner.
Topics include:
- Incorporate CIP, CDD and EDD into business account opening
- Learn how to use resolutions, signature cards and beneficial ownership certifications
- Learn how to document complex arrangements in multi-state environments
- Who can sign, transact business and enter legal arrangements on a business
- Changing owners, selling the business, changing names, changing EINS
- What happens when a principal dies, marries and resigns position

Instructor
Debbie Crawford is the President of Gettechnical Inc a Florida based training company. Her 30+ years of experience began at Hibernia National Bank in New Orleans. She does training on deposits, BSA, IRAs, tellers, compliance and many other areas of the financial institution. She graduated from Louisiana State University with both her Bachelor and master’s degrees.
