POSITION SUMMARY: Universal Bankers are instrumental in providing exceptional customer service to Catalyst Bank’s clients. They ensure our clients are serviced professionally and timely by effectively transitioning between a Teller and Banker role. They are knowledgeable about all product offerings and always ready to greet the next customer with a smile. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Evaluate customers' financial needs, provide banking solutions, and refer clients to the appropriate branch officer as needed. Clearly explain product and service benefits, requirements, restrictions, and other related product information to clients and bank employees. Manage customer accounts including opening and closing accounts and performing ongoing maintenance. Possess knowledge of policy, procedure, and processes for all consumer lending products. Efficiently run teller transactions, manage a cashbox, and assist in branch operations. Deliver outstanding customer service. Attend seminars and meetings as requested by Branch Manager. Travel to any branch location for support as requested by management. Assist in any special projects or other assignments as requested by Branch Manager. Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES): High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in retail banking or financial sales. Knowledge of banking software, technology, rules and regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook. Dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers, use feedback for continuous improvement, and develop and maintain effective relationships. Willingness to attend training seminars and meetings outside normal working hours. The ability to maintain a professional, courteous demeanor even under high-pressure circumstances. Ability to adhere to Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending and all other banking regulations.
